Book club at Smokey Row focuses on conservation
Green Iowa AmeriCorps plans a four-session book club at Smokey Row in Des Moines, Clay & Milk reported. Green Iowa focuses on education and outreach to encourage conservation and sustainability. Green Iowa AmeriCorps began in 2009 serving Black Hawk and Linn counties, but now has seven Iowa offices. Clay & Milk’s coverage includes an interview with one of the leaders of the group.
