One of Iowa’s most popular tourist attractions has a new ban on alcohol consumption, KCCI-TV reported. The Boone County Conservation Commission voted unanimously Monday to approve an ordinance that would allow park rangers to fine people for drinking on the High Trestle Trail. Boone County Conservation Commission Director Tanner Scheurermann, who created the proposed ordinance, said that it was already illegal to drink on the trail but that the rule did not give park rangers permission to fine people for consuming alcohol.
