Pleasant Hill Mayor Sara Kurovski has been chosen for a cohort of the Abshire-Inamori Leadership Academy International Fellowship program through the Center for Strategic & International Studies. The organization says it equips aspiring global leaders to be effective and ethical change-makers. Through seminars and experiential learning, fellows learn about complex global dynamics and moral constraints they face as leaders. The program runs April 16-20 in Washington, D.C. Kurovski was among 20 fellows in the spring cohort.
