Des Moines Performing Arts has released a list of 24 shows that will be staged as part of four series: Prairie Meadows Temple Comedy, Prairie Meadows Live at the Temple Concert, Dance, and Wellmark Family Series. The comedy series will include “The Naked Magicians” R-rated magic show, the stage adaptation “Men Are From Mars — Women Are From Venus Live!” and old standby “Triple Espresso.” The Temple Theater will stage jazz standouts Sammy Miller and the Congregation and Brazilian vocal group “Ordinarius,” among others. “Dance Theater of Harlem” visits the Des Moines Civic Center, as does “Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood.” Full details about all events are here.
