Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The recreational boat builder, which has been owned by British company Stellican Ltd. since 2001, has a brand heritage dating back to 1874. Forest City-based Winnebago expects to maintain Chris-Craft’s Sarasota, Fla., headquarters, and the company will operate as a distinct business unit.
