That means property tax scofflaws have until 5 p.m. June 15 to get their payments to the treasurer’s office. This year, there are fewer properties with overdue taxes and the amount owed has declined, too, according to a news release. The number of parcels with delinquent taxes dropped 2 percent from last year to 2,559 and the amount owed on those parcels is down 1 percent to $4.55 million. The tax sale starts at 7:30 a.m. June 18 at Airport Holiday Inn, 6111 Fleur Drive. The list of properties with delinquent taxes is available on the treasurer’s website.
