Almost one-third of business owners rely on technologies like telematics, drones and wearables, Nationwide’s fourth annual Business Owner Survey reports. Millennials are more likely than the average business owner to rely on connected safety technologies — 71 percent use tech in daily safety operations, compared with 32 percent of the average owner. Nationwide also found that 51 percent of business owners do not employ a dedicated safety professional, and 38 percent offer no formal safety training in the workplace.
