Consultants Eide Bailly LLP’s review of the Iowa Finance Authority’s financial systems during fired director Dave Jamison’s tenure found "no significant employee expense reimbursement, travel payment expenditure concerns or internal control-related concerns." State lawmakers ordered the review. Jamison served as director from January 2011 until March, when Gov. Kim Reynolds fired him after accusations of sexual harassment were made against Jamison. The review covered January 2011 through June 2018 and were prompted by concerns expressed by a former IFA employee after Jamison’s dismissal. "We’re pleased to have the results of the final review by Eide Bailly, LLP, which corroborate the findings of the first review," said Carolann Jensen, IFA’s interim executive director. "IFA has been steadfast in our work to advance opportunities for Iowans and we look forward to continuing to advance our mission while maintaining the trust of the Iowans we serve." The IFA supports community development through financial support of diverse housing, and sewage treatment and drinking water plant improvements.
