The 2020 Iowa Rural Summit is scheduled for Aug. 20-21, bringing together community leaders, resource and service providers to share best practices, new ideas and opportunities for collaboration. Last year’s event drew nearly 400 people from across the state. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s event will be held virtually. The Iowa Rural Summit, held since 2016, will feature four keynote speakers, roundtable discussions and break-out sessions. Individual registration is $50. Communities can have teams of up to five people register for $150. For more information and to register go to http://www.iowardc.org/summit.
