In this time of Forty Under 40 and the rise of the millennials and generations with ever-changing letters, Des Moines Area Community College and AARP would like to make life better for those over 50. If you are at least 14 years told, you have the chance to win up to $1,000 by suggesting ways to improve the quality of life for the post-50 crowd. The Disrupt Aging Innovation Concept Challenge will be part of DMACC's ciWeek8 festivities at the West Campus. Entrants will submit their concept and answer seven questions. Finalists will be announced at a ciWeek8 event March 2 and will be paired with mentors from SCORE, a nonprofit organization that helps startup businesses owners achieve their goals. The finalists will present pitches March 16 at Edgewater.
