The Des Moines Pastoral Counseling Center has announced its lineup for the 23rd annual Women Helping Women event. Polk County Supervisor Angela Connolly is the 2021 honoree. Tiffany Johnson, producing artistic director of Pyramid Theatre Company, is the 2021 speaker, and co-chairs include Carol Bodensteiner, Renee Hardman and Emily Kessinger. The event, scheduled for May 21, is expected to be both online and in person at the Embassy Suites.
