Twitter splits former COO's duties between two executives

Reuters: Twitter Inc. split the roles of recently departed chief operating officer Ali Rowghani at a time when the microblogging site is seeking to revive slowing user growth. Adam Bain is in charge of revenue and partnerships while Gabriel Stricker is responsible for marketing and media, according to their latest Twitter profiles.


American Apparel board prepares for fight with fired founder

CNNMoney: The American Apparel Inc. board learned earlier this year of "disturbing" information that suggested misconduct by company founder Dov Charney, board member Allan Mayer told CNNMoney. Charney was ousted from American Apparel earlier this week, and Mayer also told CNNMoney that the company is prepared for a fight. "[Charney] certainly indicated that he was not going to accept it," said Mayer.
