The Downtown Winter Farmers’ Market returns this weekend, with more than 70 vendors planning on attending and offering seasonal items and food. The market, on Court Avenue and surrounding streets, is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Winter Market is free and open to the public. This is the second Winter Market and the last one scheduled for the season. The first one, on Nov. 20, drew large crowds, Kelly Foss, director of the Downtown Farmers’ Market said in a release. The market offers unique gift shopping, live music, hot cocoa and apple cider for purchase, and an ornament making station. “As you prepare for holiday gatherings and shop for gifts, we encourage you to check out The Winter Market for locally produced food items, local art and more in a festive, safe environment,” Foss said.
