Dare to Dream Dare to Act: Unlock Your Ideas to Greater Success
Tuesday, November 3, 2015 4:46 PM
Terry is an Iowa farm boy whose creativity and drive made him a success in life. His book is filled with fun and insightful stories that inspire others to reach their full potential.
– Iowa Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds
I’ve watched Terry Rich in action for nearly 40 years, and the guy is one of the most creative, fun and effective promoters I’ve ever been around. But not until 2004, when my wife and I moved into the tiny community where he grew up, Cooper, Iowa (pop. 30, maybe), did I understand the humble but solid start he had in life. He was challenged here but at the same time charmed. I mean, in his first big public gig, he landed on the Johnny Carson “Tonight Show,” and that led to 12,500 showing up in Cooper for its 1981 Centennial! A great thing about his story is that you can learn so many lessons from each of the steps he has taken, on his way to becoming one of Iowa’s most successful business builders and public servants.
– Chuck Offenburger, Iowa writer
To share and be part of someone’s dream is a very exciting experience. This book tells the story of how acting on innovative ideas helped make new businesses like HBO successful.
– Les “Mr. HBO” Read
