Al­though the Unit­ed States' economic growth con­tin­ues to be as strong or stronger than many oth­er coun­tries, only a small per­cent­age of Amer­i­can house­holds is fully ben­e­fit­ing from it, reports The New York Times. As evidence, Canada's me­dian in­come pulled in­to a tie with me­dian Unit­ed States in­come in 2010 and has most like­ly sur­passed it since then. Also, several European countries are narrowing the gap between them and the United States in that measure of economic well-being.
