What are your goals in your role at your company?
After joining the Midwest Living brand and Meredith Travel Marketing Content Studio, I worked to establish a new visual energy for the magazine and our custom content products. Now, we’re translating our new visual vocabulary to digital and are focusing on creating multiplatform brand extensions, including social video, a website relaunch and augmented reality within print products.  We’ve got a strong momentum of growth happening, focusing on expanding our client footprint beyond the Midwest travel region, so I am looking forward to realizing the projects that have been behind the scenes the last couple of months.

What are your goals for your community involvement?
I have helped plan and grow ChildServe’s Bubble Ball since 2011 (co-chairing the event in 2012). In it’s sixth year, the signature gala has tripled in size with over 1,000 attendees. This year, the event is April 8. I look forward to continuing to help grow this event and to actively support ChildServe through my position on the board of trustees.

What’s your biggest passion, and why?
My family. My husband, Nick, is my perfect match — he supports a crazy schedule and my wild passion projects. Our little girls force me to color outside the lines a little more often. We love to travel together and create as many new memories as possible.

What is it that drives you?
My parents taught me early on to give more than you can and work harder than you think is possible. Through building a career, devoting hours of physical work to help friends or community members and donating to local causes, they have been the best example of what it means to pursue success in all areas of life. I can only hope to follow suit.

What are your future aspirations?
I’d like to explore getting more involved in visual art initiatives in Des Moines. Particularly those that engage children and young adults in arts.
