Wells Fargo & Co. is the world's most valuable bank brand, according to London-based brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance. Wells Fargo has a brand value of $30.2 million, according to the report. That's up from $26 million a year ago. No. 2 on the list is HSBC Holdings PLC, with a brand value of $26.9 million. Bank of America Corp., Citigroup Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co. round out the top five. Brand Finance calculates the value by determining the royalties a corporation would have to pay to license its brand if it did not own it.
