The Greater Des Moines Partnership today released its policy agenda for its Washington, D.C., trip scheduled for next week. The agenda includes issues in a number of industry sectors and categories, including transportation, education, health care and agriculture. Joseph Jones, senior vice president for government relations and public policy at the Partnership, told the Business Record that transportation projects such as designating the U.S. Highway 65/Iowa Highway 5 beltway as an interstate highway, immigration reform and funding for science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs are key topics  the Partnership will lobby for.
