Recent law school graduates are facing tougher odds finding a job as the overall employment rate for new law school graduates sits at 85.6 percent, the lowest it has been since 1994, according to findings from the Association for Legal Career Professionals.

The report, which looked at 2011 graduates, also found that the overall employment rate fell 2 percentage points from the previous class and has dropped each year since 2008.

Of those who found a job, only 65.4 percent obtained a job where passing the bar examination is required -- a drop of 9 percentage points since 2008 and the lowest percentage the association has ever measured.
