Kreg Tool Co. has promoted Sam Titus to vice president of operations, effective immediately. Titus will lead the Huxley-based manufacturer’s entire operations team, including production, warehouse/distribution, facilities, quality and supply chain. He will report to Kreg Tool’s CEO, Todd Sommerfeld. “I am excited for Sam to step into this position and join Kreg’s leadership team as we work to provide the strategic focus and on-purpose culture that leads Kreg proudly into the rapidly emerging future,” Sommerfeld said in a news release. Titus had been director of supply chain with the company for the last six years. He has more than 24 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, including 11 years at Pella Corp. as well as a past senior leadership role at Hagie Manufacturing in Clarion. Titus replaces Joe McMullen, who left Kreg for other career opportunities. Kreg Tool creates project tools for woodworkers and do-it-yourselfers such as jigs, clamps, and devices for cutting and routing. The company plans to move into a new 150,000-square-foot headquarters in Ankeny this fall.
