Wells Fargo & Co. announced that it has selected two additional companies to join the Wells Fargo Startup Accelerator program, which assists innovative companies that support the financial services industry. The two newest companies are ProxToMe, a San Francisco startup that provides proximity-based authentication for the internet of things, and Uniken, a New Jersey software company that provides cybersecurity protection. Thirteen companies are now in the six-month San Francisco-based program, in which they're eligible to receive up to $500,000, mentoring and guidance in refining their potential breakthrough technologies. Applications are being accepted globally for additional participants through June 23.
