The Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and Central Iowa Regional Transportation Planning Alliance are seeking public input on their 2021-2024 Transportation Improvement Programs. The transportation improvement programs contain four years of projects that the member governments of the MPO and CIRTPA plan to implement using federal funds. The MPO and CIRTPA update the plans annually at the member governments’ request.The programs may include street, highway, transit, rail, bicycle and pedestrian projects in the agencies’ planning area boundaries.
