A new name for neighborhoods around Ingersoll and Grand
The area defined by the Ingersoll self-supported municipal improvement district — and it’s a big district — now has a name: The Avenues of Ingersoll & Grand. Announcement of the new branding effort for the area comes in advance of the Ingersoll Live Street Festival on Aug. 27. The district stretches from Waterworks Park north to Interstate 235 between 15th and 43rd streets. Advertising agency Lessing-Flynn led the naming process and The Design Group created a new logo.
