Registration is now open for the Iowa Association of Business and Industry’s 2025 Business Horizons summer program, available to all Iowa high school students in grades 9-12. The program will take place July 13-17 at Drake University. During the week, students will work in teams to tackle a real-world challenge, developing a product or service as the foundation for a new business idea. At the end of the week, teams will pitch their ideas to investors, create infomercials and showcase their projects at a trade show in front of live judging panels. Also included are presentations from industry professionals, leadership development activities, local business tours, independent living experiences, and social events. Students who register by May 30 will receive a $50 discount. Registrations will be accepted through July 5 or until the program is filled.
