Above + Beyond Cancer announces new executive director
Above + Beyond Cancer, an Iowa-based nonprofit organization, has announced Brad Anderson as its new executive director. Over the past decade, Anderson has worked for a variety of local, state and national campaigns and causes. In addition to working at Link Strategies, Anderson was a senior member of Sen. Tom Harkin’s communications team, communications director for former Iowa Gov. Chet Culver and served as President Barack Obama’s state director in 2012. In 2014, Anderson was the Democratic nominee for Iowa secretary of state.
