Above + Beyond Cancer, a public nonprofit organization that supports people with cancer, announced Alissa McKinney as its new executive director. She has been serving in the position since Feb. 19, 2024. McKinney has 24 years of experience in the field and previously served as senior director of development at UnityPoint Health – Des Moines Foundation. “I am thrilled to be joining the team and excited to grow and enhance the incredible programs and opportunities Above + Beyond Cancer creates for the cancer community,” McKinney said in a prepared statement.
