Airport traffic up 2.9 percent in May
Passenger traffic at Des Moines International Airport rose 2.9 percent in May over the same month last year. That brought the year-to-day increase to 3.9 percent over the same period last year. The biggest carrier, American Airlines, gained 15.3 percent in May over May 2017, with United Airlines off by 13.4 percent. Delta Air Lines gained 7.1 percent.
