The American Marketing Association has named AMA Iowa as its top performer among more than 70 chapters in the United States and Canada. As the Gold Chapter of the Year for 2017-2018, the top Chapter Excellence Award recognizes excellence across all areas of chapter management and operation, including strategic planning, volunteer management, membership engagement, programming delivery and financial management. Christy Gooding, the chapter’s past president, will accept the award on behalf of the Iowa chapter at AMA’s Leadership Summit in May 2019.
