First Community Trust, a nationally chartered trust company headquartered in Dubuque, is partnering with Ames-based River Valley Credit Union to offer trust services, investment management and retirement services to more Iowans. First Community Trust services include investment management, retirement planning and retirement income strategies primarily through credit unions, as well as trust and estate administration. “I believe that this partnership will empower more members to make informed financial decisions that lead to long-term financial stability and success,” Brian Godwin, CEO of River Valley, said in a prepared release. First Community Trust has a partnership with seven other credit unions across the state, including ones located in central and eastern Iowa, as well as western Illinois.
