Ankeny residents who are at least 18 years old and are interested in serving on the City Council can apply online until noon Jan. 10, 2025. Applications will be reviewed, and a new council member will be appointed during the Jan. 21, 2025, City Council meeting. The appointed council member’s seat will be up for election in November 2025.
