Des Moines Register: Another of Polk County’s top managers has filed a lawsuit against the county and Supervisor Matt McCoy, alleging discrimination, retaliation and violations of Iowa’s open meetings law. The move by Sarah Boese, the director of community relations for the county, follows a related multi-count lawsuit filed last September by former county human resources chief Jim Nahas. The lawsuits reflect the ongoing tensions between McCoy and the other Polk County supervisors.
