The IMPACT Community Action Partnership is accepting applications for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program through April 30. The program helps qualifying low-income homeowners and renters in Boone, Jasper, Marion, Polk or Warren counties pay for a portion of their primary heating costs, based on factors like income, household size and dwelling type. The program is funded by the Department of Health and Human Services. More information is available here.
