Forsythe Appraisals LLC, which said in a news release that it is the largest independent provider of residential real estate appraisals in the United States, has opened a branch office at 1919 Ingersoll Ave. in Des Moines that will appraise properties in Polk, Dallas, Warren, Madison and Story counties. The Des Moines branch will be managed by Josh Shillak, a Des Moines native and University of Iowa graduate who most recently worked for Forsythe’s office in Denver.
