Architects establish scholarship to honor William Dikis

The Iowa chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) has established a scholarship in recognition of longtime Greater Des Moines architect William Dikis. The scholarship will benefit students in the department of architecture in the College of Design at Iowa State University. Dikis graduated from Iowa State with his Bachelor of Architecture in 1964 and his Master of Architecture in 1967. He has been an AIA Iowa member since the 1960s and is a recipient of the AIA Iowa Medal of Honor, the highest AIA Iowa award. Dikis is also a member of the AIA College of Fellows.He is the owner of Architectural Strategies LLC and was a principal at RDG Bussard Dikis Architects for 38 years.
