Athene Holding Ltd., the publicly traded parent company of West Des Moines-based retirement services firm Athene USA, recently released its 2020 corporate social responsibility report.  Among highlights of the report, the company documented more than 3,000 hours of cumulative volunteering and provided more than 17,000 books to child care centers and education programs. Athene also donated nearly $2.5 million to worthy causes, including $1 million to United Way through employee contributions and the Athene USA Charitable Foundation.
