Chris Bird has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer for senior living company LCS in Des Moines. In this newly created position, Bird will provide oversight of LCS’ Life Care Services and Care Purchasing Services companies, as well as asset management, procurement and onboarding operations. “Chris has proven his ability to help lead the LCS Family of Companies forward,” said Joel Nelson, LCS president and CEO. “He is a visionary leader respected both inside and outside the company and has extensive experience with both life plan and rental communities. Most importantly, Chris has an unwavering passion for ensuring residents remain at the forefront of every business decision made at LCS.” Bird, who has 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the senior living industry, joined Life Care Services in February 2018 as executive vice president, director of rental.
