Architecture and design firm BNIM announced that Jonathan Ramsey has been promoted to the position of principal. Ramsey has over 15 years of experience with the firm and nearly 25 years in the architecture profession. In his role as principal, he will be recognized for his leadership and dedication to his project initiatives, the Des Moines studio and the firm at large, according to a company news release. Ramsey’s portfolio includes work in cultural, higher education, workplace and civic sectors, and he has received over 50 significant awards and media features. He is also dedicated to advancing climate action and has served as a board member of the Iowa Environmental Council and chairperson of the AIA Iowa committee on the environment.
