Storyhouse Bookpub, which has operated as a pop-up bookstore for several months, plans to open in a brick-and-mortar location in the East Village in June. The store, owned and operated by Abigail Paxton of Windsor Heights, will be located at 505 E. Grand Ave., Suite 102.  Numerous book-related events are planned at the new location, as well as children’s story times. In December, Paxton transformed her garage into a book shop at which customers could purchase new and gently used books. Since then Storyhouse Bookpub has held pop-up events in the Des Moines area. According to a news release, Storyhouse Bookpub will continue offering pop-up bookstores.
