BPC Inc. named Best Private Company for Leaders

Business Publications Corporation Inc. (BPC Inc.), the company that publishes Business Record and dsm magazine, and its chairman, Connie Wimer, have been ranked by Chief Executive magazine as the “Best Private Company for Leaders” in the country. The honor came in an article in the Jan./Feb. 2012 edition of the magazine, which examined the best public and private companies for leaders. More than 1,000 public and private companies’ CEOs filled out a survey conducted by Chally Group Worldwide, and BPC Inc. was selected from among the responding private companies by Chief Executive magazine’s staff. The companies were scored by the magazine’s staff on four criteria: 1. Having a formal leadership process in place; 2. Commitment level of the CEO; 3. Depth of the leadership funnel as measured by management positions filled with internal candidates; 4. Number of companies that report recruiting from the evaluated company.
