Bravo Greater Des Moines has awarded $450,000 in grants to 12 Central Iowa arts and culture organizations. The awards are part of Bravo’s 2015 Capital Campaign and Projects grant program. The largest capital grants ever provided by Bravo were awarded to the Blank Park Zoo Foundation, DesMoinesArts Inc., Des Moines Performing Arts and the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden. Other award recipients include the Altoona Area Historical Society, the city of Waukee, Des Moines Community Orchestra, Des Moines Community Playhouse, Iowa Asian Alliance, Iowa Gold Star Military Museum, Living History Farms Foundation and the Salisbury House Foundation.
