Facing a shortage of corn, Brazil poultry farmers in the state of Rio Grande do Sul plan to import corn from the United States, Successful Farming reports. Rio Grande do Sul expects to harvest 4.6 million metric tons of corn this year — down 23 percent from last year. The state needs another 1.5 million metric tons.
