Broadlawns Medical Center promotes four female leaders
Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines announced that four female leaders were recently promoted within the organization. Katie Wengert has been promoted to Broadlawns’ executive leadership team as chief strategy officer and vice president of business development. Janet Naset-Payne has been promoted to the senior leadership team as assistant vice president of quality and regulatory compliance. Dr. Kindra Perry has been promoted to the senior leadership team as assistant vice president of behavioral health. Jenna Knox has been promoted to service line leadership as foundation director. ”As Women’s History month draws to a close, Broadlawns celebrates the significant contributions of the capable women throughout our organization who help us fulfill our mission of service,” said Tony Coleman, Broadlawns president and CEO. “The advancement of these four women leaders recognizes their past contributions to the hospital, but it also represents the future positioning of Broadlawns and ensuring that we capably meet the needs of our community.” Wengert joined Broadlawns in 2015 and most recently was chief marketing and external relations officer. Naset-Payne, who joined the hospital in 2020, most recently was director of quality management. Perry, previously director of behavioral health clinical services, has been with the hospital since 2014. Knox joined Broadlawns in 2019, and most recently was manager of external relations. The taxpayer-supported nonprofit medical center has more than 1,200 employees and 100 physicians providing a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services.
