Broadlawns Medical Center was recently honored by the Des Moines Human Rights Commission for “its commitment to its diversified work force and the betterment of the community at large.” The 2012 Corporate Award in Human Rights was presented to Broadlawns at the 26th Annual Symposium on Civil and Human Rights at Des Moines University. “This recognition is one of the most treasured awards because it speaks to how we serve our patients and lead our employees,” said Jody Jenner, the hospital’s president and CEO. “Corporate policies exemplify the organization’s values, while its employees provide the integration and caring that creates the culture.”
