Buena Vista University and United Bank of Iowa have entered into a strategic partnership to provide educational benefits to the bank’s 330 employees. The collaboration offers grant funding that will reduce the costs of classes offered at BVU’s Storm Lake campus, as well as its online programs and organizational leadership graduate program. This collaboration is the latest addition to the university’s strategic partnerships program, where educational opportunities are integrated into employee benefits packages at no cost to the employer. BVU has previously partnered with other regional organizations, including Western Iowa Tech Community College and Iowa Central Community College.
