Allegiant planning more Cedar Rapids flights

Despite setbacks, mall manager says Southbridge moving on

MASON CITY – The Southbridge Mall numbers are not pretty. Two stores – J.C. Penney and American Eagle – announced this month they will be closing soon, and another chose to leave and open at a new location. The mall’s assessed value, just under $14 million in 2000, was $5 million in 2014. But T.J. Nano-brewery to open in Muscatine

MUSCATINE –  The former Mississippi Marine building at 411 Mississippi Drive will soon house Muscatine’s first brewery in recent memory: Contrary Brewing Co. The business is considered a nano-brewery and is smaller than some of the microbreweries in surrounding cities. Quad-City Times
