The U.S. Small Business Administration and National Women’s Business Council will host the Iowa Summit for Women Entrepreneurs on Aug. 3 in Ankeny. The summit will explore the business challenges facing Iowa women entrepreneurs and promote dialogue and provide networking opportunities, organizers say. Ana Recio Harvey, assistant administrator of the SBA’s Office of Women’s Business Ownership and Iowa Department of Economic Development Director Debi Durham will be among the speakers. The event will be held from 1-5 p.m. at the FFA Enrichment Center, 1055 S.W. Prairie Trail Parkway. The event is free, but space is limited.
