Casey’s General Stores has helped provide 30 million meals to people struggling with hunger through the Ankeny-based company’s partnership with Feeding America, the country’s largest hunger-relief organization, Casey’s announced. Since 2020, Casey’s customers have been invited to participate in Casey’s annual “roundup at the register” campaign supporting Feeding America. For each dollar donated, 10 meals are distributed to families across the heartland through the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks. The partnership between Casey’s and Feeding America recently marked 30 million meals made possible through the effort. In addition, Casey’s recently donated $100,000 to the Food Bank of Iowa to help the nonprofit expand its distribution center.
