CB Richard Ellis profit surges
CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. reported a fourth-quarter 2010 profit of $95.1 million, or 30 cents per share, compared with $64.3 million, or 21 cents per share, for the year-earlier period. The Los Angeles-based company, which posted double-digit revenue gains in each of its business lines except development services, said its global leasing revenue was up 35 percent in the fourth quarter of 2010 from the final three months of 2009. For the year, CB Richard Ellis’ 2010 profits surged 501 percent to $200.3 million, or 63 cents per share, in 2010, compared with $33.3 million, or 12 cents per share, in 2009.
