Ajay Kalra has been named managing director and market leader for CBRE’s Iowa business, the real estate services and investment firm recently announced. In his new role, Kalra will lead CBRE’s office in West Des Moines. He has nearly 10 years of business management and leadership experience in several different industries. Most recently, Kalra served as special investment manager at Iowa-based private equity firm LCS Real Estate. Previously, he served as a regional manager at Keurig Dr Pepper, where he managed 30 company branches throughout Iowa and was responsible for over $400 million in sales. Jeff Kaiser, senior managing director in CBRE’s St. Louis office, said Kalra is a “well-respected business leader with an established track record in Des Moines and throughout Iowa,” giving him the fresh perspective to continue CBRE’s growth in Des Moines. Kalra said he’s “thrilled” for the new opportunity at CBRE. “As the Iowa market continues to grow, I look forward to working with CBRE leaders and team members across all service lines to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients,” he said in a news release.
