Central Iowa Shelter & Services is offering free meals to Des Moines youths during the summer through its Community Kitchen. Meals will be provided at various sites, including parks, schools, and community locations. No registration is required, and all children aged 18 and under are welcome. CISS is hosting three kickoff events at Columbus Park, Water Works Park and Union Park, featuring food and activities. The program aims to engage children with enjoyable experiences while ensuring they receive nutritious meals.
